Sand Island in the middle of the creek

Edge of creek where it is eroding away the soil as time goes on.

There were many of these small green plants scatted around the side of the plot where there was sand and pebbles.

Field Notebook:
- Date: September 5, 2018
- Time: 7:00
- Temperature: 72°
- Climate Conditions: Heavy rain
- Length of Day: 12 hours 58 minutes
- Interesting Organisms: brown common mushrooms, cone shaped fungi, tall green weeds
- What I heard: rain and thunder
- Pace of the Creek: Once the rain began to get heavier the creek flowed faster and this increase in movement was obvious because of the amount of ripples the raindrops created.
- Questions: I wonder if the rain will affect the results I get with my phosphorus experiment?

  1. Great question! This should start to be something you have a better idea about after class this week. Great pictures to start! Keep looking for patterns!
